Children's Ministry

     Children are an important part of the ministry here at Immanuel Baptist.  Jesus tells in Matthew 19:14 "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."  We believe that we are commissioned by Jesus to teach the children to come to Him.         

 Sunday School and Children's Church

     On Sunday mornings at 9:30am, children from birth to 5^th Grade participate in Sunday school.  We also offer Children's Church on Sunday mornings during the regular worship time.  During this time the children are involved in learning Bible stories, doing a craft or activity, and a structured mini-worship service with singing, hearing a message preached and even collecting an offering.  Children's Church is for ages 4 through 5^th Grade.

Immanuel Baptist Dollars

     We have an incentive program for the children known as the Immanuel Baptist Dollar.  Children receive an IBC Dollar for such things as bringing their Bible, bringing a friend, knowing the Bible verse from the lesson and various other things.  These dollars are redeemed once a month at the Children's Store where they may purchase an item of their choice with the dollars.

Seasonal Programs

     Seasonal events are also available. We offer Vacation Bible School and holiday programs throughout the year.
